Welcome to Yali Dream Works

The name ‘Yali’ was inspired from the Hindu mythology. Unknown story of Hindu Mythical animal – Yali (யாளி) Hindus mythical animal or monster Yali can be found in Hindu temples as an ancient art. It has been widely used in South Indian temples pillars. Part of Lion and Elephant as a body and head. These type of ancient mythical animals can be found in various parts of the world and religions.

Yali Dream Works is a entertainment company focused on creating original stories to engage global audiences using adaptation of comics and graphic novels. Yali Dream Works brings original and imaginative stories with an admixture of horror and fantasy; mind-bending sci-fi and mythology. We nurture and enlighten the next generation to leap onto the comic book scenario through our gripping stories and eye-popping art-work. Our team, from the very creative artists to the exceptionally talented writers, have the same agenda: unfolding great stories.

Asvin Srivatsangam

Co-Founder

Asvin Srivatsangam’s passion and energy has driven the vision behind Yali Dream Creations. Like many of us, Asvin had a dream of creating and sharing stories in some media or other.His early childhood was much enriched by cartoons, later by Indian mythological stories. While years of corporate life suspended this possibility, he kept weaving stories until one day he decided to started his own comic book company. He had always liked story-telling and exploiting visual medium such as graphic novels fascinated him even further

Vivek Rangachari

Co-Founder

He is the co-founder of DAR Motion Pictures, which has active interests in film production, financing, distribution and entertainment marketing. In his capacity as a producer, Hei has, over the last eight years, successfully produced and released several Hindi and Marathi films including critically and commercially acclaimed films such as ‘The Lunchbox’ (Cannes 2013 ; Critics Week), Vivek is now in the process of producing films such as the Hindi re-make of the hit Malayalam film ‘Bangalore Days’, Arunima Sinha (first female amputee in the world to climb Mt. Everest) biopic with a leading Hindi actress. He, is also producing original digital content for Hotstar and is in discussions with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Applause Entertainment, Voot and Zee5 on various other shows.

Sethumadhavan Napan

Producer

Having spent several years working with prominent entities across diverse sectors like FMCG, Retail, Education etc., Sethumadhavan Napan finally decided to follow his passion and got into the media and entertainment space nearly a decade ago. A veteran in the online space, Sethu is the founder of Mad About Moviez (www.madaboutmoviez.in), a platform which lays emphasis on indie & regional cinema. Apart from being a film journalist and a subtitler in his spare time, Sethu has also been noticed as a distribution & marketing consultant for films. Currently the COO of DAR Media/DAR Motion Pictures (makers of films like The Lunchbox, D-Day, Ugly, Haunted, Mickey Virus, Bucket List etc.) and among their board of directors, he turned producer with the Marathi film Bucket List featuring Madhuri Dixit. As of now Sethu’s dabbling with multiple projects, including films in Hindi and regional languages as well as setting up original digital content (films and series) for leading OTT platforms.
